Hire-a-Veteran event set in Post Falls

More than 20 employers with several dozen job openings are participating in a Hire-a-Veteran event at the Kootenai County Idaho Department of Labor office, N600 Thornton Street, Post Falls, on Wednesday, November 14. The event, being held in honor of Veterans Day, runs from 10 a.m. to noon.

All job seekers, including non-veterans, are encouraged to attend this multi-employer event. Several new employers will be attending this month’s event. Full-time, part-time and seasonal positions are available for immediate hire. Applicants can meet with employers. Computer also will be available to complete online applications.

The event is free to attend. Job applicants are encouraged to bring resumes, dress to meet potential employers and be prepared to speak directly with company recruiters and HR staff.

Positions available include quality assurance associate, warehouse worker, HVAC installer, process technician, CNC operator, caregiver, front desk clerk, customer service representative, sales consultant, housekeeper, janitor, welder, operations team lead, cashier, stocker, registered nurse, licensed social worker, production worker, industrial painter, materials handler, electronics technician, IT systems administrator, manufacturing worker, client manager, certified nurse assistant, production shift worker, machinist, yard help, custodian, crew member and more.
