TechPartner store closing, but the service lives on

While the TechPartner store at 6720 Main Street, Bonners Ferry, is liquidating its inventory at insanely low prices through January 1 to allow sale of the building, owners Michael Listman and Rita Pensmith will still offer commercial computer repair, network set up and maintenance and home security installation as they have for years.

"The store itself wasn't making it," Rita said, "with places like Shopko and online sales. "Instead, we're focusing on commercial computer systems and security systems, and on going to those businesses and homes to do our work."

Michael and Rita brought Boundary Computer to downtown Bonners Ferry in 2003, later turning it into a Radio Shack outlet before the Radio Shack corporation filed bankruptcy in 2015, at which time they moved to their present location as Tech Partners.

While time is short, merchandise is clearing fast with prices on electronics and computer gear going for as much as 90% off, and it ends January 1, so there's not much time.

"I just want people to know that even though the store is gone, we're still here!" Rita said.

To learn more, they still have the same phone number, (208) 267-1000.
