January 6, 2019
The National Weather Service, Missoula, has issued a winter weather message for the Kootenai/Cabinet region of northwest Montana for snow, in effect from 8 p.m. today through 5 p.m. Monday.

Total snow accumulations of three to five inches are expected, with more snow falling near the Montana/Idaho state line and in Troy, Yaak and Libby.

Travel is expected to be difficult due to slick roads and limited visibility on Highway 2 from Stateline to Libby, on Bull Lake Road, on Highway 37 from Libby to Eureka and on Highway 93 from Eureka to Whitefish.
