Badger volleyball
By Mike Weland

Badger fans tonight honored the three seniors on this year's Badger volleyball team; Jerzie Pluid, Macie Liermann and Leilani Ram, each of whom kept the fans on their feet and have provided leadership and inspiration to the younger players on the team we'll be watching in the years ahead.

Jerzie, joined by her parents Justin and Shannon, sisters Avery, Markynn and Ebereley and brothers Pacen, Cardon and Oakley, plans to play volleyball at North Idaho College or Boise State University as she works toward a degree in anesthesiology.

Her fondest memories are team dinners, daily frosted cookies and puppy chow with Mir, "Fergalicious" and "Good Bye Earl," dope handshakes with Mir and Kadi, teaching Britt how to twerk, box painting, pool workouts, team sleepovers at Mir's, state trips, V's hip twist and "Is that all?"

Her hobbies include hanging with the fam bam, going on hikes and adventures and, of course, volleyball.

Joining Maecie were her parents Butch and Jenny, sister Paige and brother Brandon. She plans to attend Lewis and Clark State College to pursue a career in dental hygiene, and her fondest memories are going to state her junior year, Miss Amy's splits, workouts in the pool, Jerzie blocking the ball with her face and colliding with grace in multiple games.

Her hobbies include volleyball, basketball, hunting, boating and spending time with her family and friends.

Leilani Ram was joined by parents Joy and Warren, stepdad John, sisters Bella and Joy and brothers Issac and Jake.

Her plans are to go to college somewhere to earn a degree in dental assisting and then going into orthodontic assisting.

She plans to eventually get married and start a family with her future husband.

Her fondest memories are the state trip, giving VCictoria the nickname V, backfips with Grace, rooming with Maecie, Kianna and Kaylee at state, getting team Crocs, Lexie doing the splits in their game and running sprints with Dina.

Her hobbies include volleyball, basketball, taking naps with Jerzie, petting her dog, Princess and spending time with friends and family.

On behalf of all Badger fans everywhere, a great big Thank You! to each for the memories on the Badger volleyball courts, and we hope for many more in all your endeavors before you walk to take your diploma and your first steps into your futures this spring.
