December 12, 2018
Seth Bateman put up 19 points for the Badgers Tuesday and Dylan Hittle hit 13, but their efforts weren't enough to overcome the Lakeland Hawks, and the Badgers brought home a 71-52 loss.

Lakeland, led by Jalen Skalskiy's game high 21 points, built a 19-11 first quarter lead and built on it each quarter thereafter, going into halftime ahead 36-23 and into the final quarter with a 49-31 advantage and outshooting the Badgers by a single point in the fourth quarter, 22-21.

Matt Morgan added six points, Caleb Petersen five and Chris Durette and Hayden Stockton each added four points for the Badgers.

The 3-3 Badgers are on the road again Tuesday, December 18, to face Wallace, undefeated at 5-0 on the season, and they'll return home Thursday, December 20, to face the 4-1 St. Maries Lumberjacks.

Also on Tuesday, the Badger girls traveled to Wallace and beat the Miners, still looking for their first win this season, 64-36. Game statistics were not made available.

The girls travel to Post Falls Friday, December 13, to Lakeland on Friday, December 21, and they return to the Badger Den at 5 p.m. Saturday, December 22, to take on Lincoln County High School, Eureka, Montana.
