IDFG wants to hear on moose, sheep and goat proposals

Idaho Fish and Game wants to hear from hunters on proposed changes to moose, bighorn sheep and mountain goat hunting seasons for 2019-20, and hunters can attend open house workshops around the state to provide comments.

Open houses will be held around the state in coming days, including at the

from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, December 18, at the Coeur d'Alene Regional Office, W2885 Kathleen Avenue, and from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, January 2, at the Ponderay Events Center, 401 Bonner Mall Way, Suite E.

Individuals with disabilities may request meeting accommodations by contacting their local Fish and Game office, or through the Idaho Relay Service at 1-800-368-6185.

A complete list of statewide seasons and rules proposals for moose, bighorn sheep and mountain goat, and the opportunity to comment online, will also be available prior to the open houses. Comments can also be mailed to 2019-20 Big Game MSG Species Season Proposals, PO Box 25, Boise, ID 83707. The deadline for comments is January 3.

All comments will be presented to the Idaho Fish and Game Commission prior to setting the seasons at their meeting in Boise January 23-24.
